We are proud to share that four of our amazing Walker Elementary ROAR (21st Century Community Learning Center) staff members attended the Arkansas 21st CCLC Conference on June 18–19, 2025, at the Hot Springs Convention Center. 👏 A huge shout-out to Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Struebing, who presented at the conference and represented Walker with excellence! Their session highlighted the impactful strategies and successes of our ROAR after-school program. Several Wildcat educators participated in the Amazeum’s Summer STEAM Institute, where they explored innovative strategies to ignite student creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. Educators engaged in hands-on learning focused on real-world phenomena and sense-making to support deeper understanding through STEAM.
